How are children traveling alone categorized?
4 to under 12 years old – Unaccompanied Minor (UM)
Passengers aged 4 to under 12 who are not accompanied by a parent, guardian, or an adult aged 18 or older on the same flight and in the same service class are classified as UM.
For this age group, the UM service is mandatory and is only permitted in Economy Class.
12 to under 18 years old – Youth Traveling Alone (YPTA)
Passengers aged 12 to under 18 traveling alone are classified as YPTA. Support services are applied more flexibly, and passengers may be accepted in various service classes according to current conditions.
Important note: Children aged 2 to under 4 years old do not fall into the group eligible for the Unaccompanied Minor service under the current policy.

The UM/YPTA service is currently registered via Sun PhuQuoc Airways Ticketing Offices or Call Center. For cases requiring a Cabin Crew Escort, this service must be registered via a Ticketing Office or email according to the airline's regulations.
